A Russian plant, not a trading company

MIRPACK is one of the largest Russian manufacturers of garbage bags. The plant has worked since 1998 on a site of more than 3 hectares, about 100 km from the Moscow Ring Road. Production, the finished goods warehouse and the sales office share one address, so a buyer deals with the factory directly and pays a factory price without intermediaries.

The plant runs 24/7, without weekends or holidays, and puts out more than 1,000 t of products a month. About 1,400 business customers receive shipments every month, and about 80 % of orders are repeat orders. A typical customer stays with us for 5–7 years; the longest relationships have lasted more than 15 years.

From granule to pallet in eight stages

Raw materials, extrusion, bag-making lines, quality control, storage and dispatch all happen on one site.

  1. 01

    Raw materials

LDPE and HDPE granule and additives arrive at the raw materials store.

  2. 02

    Hopper loading

Dosing by recipe: the technologist sets the composition and color of every batch.

  3. 03

    Extrusion

The melt is blown into a film tube from 7 to 120 µm thick.

  4. 04

    Cooling

The tube cools and stabilises; this is where the strength of the bag is set.

  5. 05

    Winding and cutting

Bag-making lines seal the bottom, perforate the film and wind the rolls.

  6. 06

    Quality control

Every batch is checked, then packed into boxes and onto pallets.

  7. 07

    Warehouse

More than 400 t of finished goods; popular items are always in stock.

  8. 08

    Dispatch

Our own trucks of 1.5 to 10 t, or a transport company of your choice.
